Facilitator | Academic | Activist
Further to her therapeutic work, Antigone is an experienced facilitator, academic, and activist.
Antigone has over 10 years experience facilitating groups from dance and drama programmes for children and adolescents with additional needs, to mindful moments at corporate events.
She adapts her practice to meet the needs of the group and works in collaboration with event organisers to provide a tailor designed programme.
Further to her therapeutic work, Antigone is a visiting lecturer at Roehampton university where she has taught on both the Dramatherapy Masters and Short Courses.
She is building her academic portfolio with contributions to journals such as the British Journal of Psychiatry and presentations at a number of conferences such as the British Association of Dramatherapists, and the European Consortium for Arts Therapies Education.
Antigone is currently working on research regarding the effectiveness of Dramatherapy in Prisons.
Antigone's background is rooted in working with different grass roots groups and organisations.
She continues to deepen her understanding of anti-oppressive and anti-colonial practice, for which she advocates across the psy-professions.
Antigone sees activism as both an active practice and structure through which she's guided to make day to day decisions.
